Code 39 Barcode Labels

Code39 Barcodes are variable length alpha numeric codes often used in asset  tracking  and identification applications. The symbol  allows encodeing of  43 different characters (A-Z uppercase, 0-9 and the following 7 special characters (-  .  $ /  +  % and space)  There is an extended version of the symbology  which allows encoding of the full 128 characters in the ascii set.

Being able to use alpha characters as prefixes or suffixes, together with serial or record numbers provides addtional levels of  of logic to help better identify and sort groups of  items or assets.
