Toshiba TEC’s\u00a0 showed off a number of new products at their\u00a0 recent\u00a0 VAR day.<\/p>\n

DB-EA4D is a dual-sided label printer which prints on both front and reverse faces of labels or tickets\u00a0 in a single pass. The new printer\u00a0 uses two thermal printheads and has a maximum print speed of 6″ per second. The unit prints barcodes text and graphics on labels and tickets, in roll, fan-fold and cut-sheet formats.<\/p>\n

We’ve tested this machine and are very impressed with dual-sided print quality and print speed. The machine build quality is what you would expect from\u00a0 Toshiba TEC, and \u00a0 we particularly liked the integrated LAN interface as standard.<\/p>\n

Availability of dual-sided direct thermal media\u00a0 in both economy and top-coated grades is good.<\/p>\n
