Toshiba TEC’s showed off a number of new products at their recent VAR day.
DB-EA4D is a dual-sided label printer which prints on both front and reverse faces of labels or tickets in a single pass. The new printer uses two thermal printheads and has a maximum print speed of 6″ per second. The unit prints barcodes text and graphics on labels and tickets, in roll, fan-fold and cut-sheet formats.
We’ve tested this machine and are very impressed with dual-sided print quality and print speed. The machine build quality is what you would expect from Toshiba TEC, and we particularly liked the integrated LAN interface as standard.
Availability of dual-sided direct thermal media in both economy and top-coated grades is good.
